Why do people say Street Fighter is no longer popular?
Why do people say this?From what I heard in magazines,it is still very popular.I even heard that the XBOX LIVE ARCADE version of Street Fighter 2:Hyper FIghting quickly made it as the number 1 bestselling game on XBOX LIVE ARCADE a couple of hours after its release.(I got this info from the official XBOX Live Website.)But most gamers I met said it died out.I even heard most gamers say that 3D Fighing Games like Soul Calibur and Tekken had defeated Street Fighter 2 sales!Is this eveb true?Please answer.
it’s because the genre is dying, not longer is it famous just being a “fighter” type game most new games incorporate two to three different genres in one. and besides new gamers wont know what these games are all about.
