xbox 360 arcade games hack

what does it mean when someone says xbox 360 hacked or modded?

what does that mean, i only know of a normal xbox that plays games, i thought all were same, i thought there was arcade, premium and elite and thats it

Usually, someone will say that 360 is modded or hacked when they suck, and the other person is annihilating them. However, it actually does exist.

You can get Mod Chips from a lot of different places…All illegal. They simple add a few extra menus to your 360 Operating System, allowing you to cheat. A lot of people use them for Gears of War. This is the least common way. But it’s the only real form of modding.

The main way is to take a really good computer, and install an Xbox 360 Operating System onto a second hard drive. Thus allowing you to play the games online. Then, you can tweak the games to your liking, and even get Artificial Intelligence to play for you, and all sorts of things.

I find it a dumb, and very expensive way to have fun…I would think playing would be more enjoyable…I guess there are some fairly rich people that really suck at video games…
